Resultum is Umberto Cesari’s definitive interpretation of Sangiovese di Romagna. An iconic red blending tradition and innovation through exclusive vinification and aging in cocciopesto amphorae. Created to celebrate vineyard resilience to climate change, it offers power, silky tannins, and extraordinary longevity.

Interesting facts
The name "Resultum" comes from the Latin verb resilire and pays tribute to resilience: the vineyard's ability to adapt to climate change while producing excellent fruit. It is the symbol of Umberto Cesari's sustainable approach, blending the history of Sangiovese with the ancient amphora technique to look towards the future.
This Sangiovese Rubicone IGT originates in the Miravalle Estate on clay and limestone soils, from vines averaging 20 years old and yielding 6.5 tonnes of grapes per hectare. The 100% Sangiovese grapes are harvested manually. Its distinctive feature is the vinification and aging process in concrete tanks and cocciopesto amphorae, followed by at least 12 months in the bottle. With 14% ABV, it should be served in a large glass at 18-20°C to release its bouquet of violet, plum, and balsamic notes.

Appearance: Intense ruby red with purple highlights
Bouquet: Rich and complex, with fragrant notes of sweet violets, rose petals, iris, and peony, followed by impressions of dried plum and wild blackberry, backgrounded by hints of mown hay, pipe tobacco, forest underbrush, and vanilla.
Palate: Forceful, harmonious, firm but not excessive structure, its appeal is amply demonstrated by its fruit- and floral-laden drinkability.
